I was informed by my superior in office that I will be going on an office tour to Hyderabad. I was truly excited at the thought of going to the historical city. As a kid, I heard stories about the Nizams who resided there, about their wealth and opulence, about their grand kingdom that Hyderabad was then. As time passed, Hyderabad had made its name as an important IT hub of India. Though in recent years it has also become rather popular as a financial hub. Being a history buff, I was more psyched to explore the various palaces, tombs, and historical landmarks. Needless to say, the idea of shopping for pearls and garnets also featured among the top five in my Hyderabad bucket list. As a foodie, I looked forward to delight my taste buds with Hyderabadi Biriyani.
Lemon Tree Hotel, Gachibowli, Hyderabad |
Once I touched down in the city, I was whisked away directly to my regional office for an important meeting. After a good 6 – 7 hours, I was dog tired, yet relieved at the day being over. I was driven to my hotel and I was pleasantly surprised realizing I will be staying at Lemon Tree Hotel, Gachibowli which provides amazing hotels deals in Gachibowli. Located at an easy distance from my office, I reached the hotel in no time in spite of the traffic. I was shown to my room after a swift check in process, and after freshening up I opted for a light dinner at Citrus Café, one of their two restaurants. Since I was well fatigued, I called it a day, although I promised myself a leisurely Spa and swim session the next morning at this hotel near Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
